For those who are very tall, a custom-made king mattress may be a good choice. There are some mattresses that are a foot taller and wider than a standard king, or even larger than this. It is worth looking at a catalog to find the size of mattress that is right for you. It is not enough that a king mattress should be large, but it should also be comfortable. A standard mattress has a wooded base, fabric, such as lambs’ wool, surrounding coiled springs, and a quilted cover. However, there are other types of mattresses, such as number beds, which use air instead of coils to create form and support.
